You can’t design well in the browser. You can edit one or maybe even two attributes in a browser if you are using aids like FireBug, in which you can dynamically move an object (arrow keys, up and down inside a CSS rule). The problem is that you are constrained. You can’t move half pixels like you can in Illustrator or another layout program. I have to constantly tell myself not to pick round numbers for margins and padding. It is a much worse problem if you are starting from the browser and if you have to compute math in order to obtain values. Changing an element in code affects other elements unlike in a graphic program (it would be nice though if you could make objects affect each other?one can dream….)

I have not tried it with cacao powder yet… I need to do this! What spices do you add to it? I tried it with ginger the other day… yum!

This is an extremely important post. Having narrowly escaped from marrying someone who expected me as a girlfriend to cook, clean ( and me mugu, I did both extensively) and who still thought I didn’t do enough of it to show that I was worthy of our impending marriage, It was made worse by the fact that I told him that any guy with those expectations must take up the traditional husband role of totally providing financially.

Bearing in mind previous posts about words I picked up a book at a charity sale called Troublesome Words by Bill Bryson. It is a hoot. He talks about misuse of words, grammar and punctuation. Right up my street….It was first published in 1984 so I doubt it would merit review now but you might want to watch out for it ( if it is published in the US of course)
