Rickshaw pedicabs are a danger to anyone who gets into one. The riders have absolutely no sense at all and do not even know what the highway code is, most speak no or very little english and have no experience of driving or riding on the road usually cutting up other vehicles and riding extremely dangerously. The riders are usually students or immigrants who make no contribution to the inland revenue like any other person working in the uk, I pay my tax as i’m sure you do ? why should they be able to rip off tourists and be able to keep everything they earn????? I saw one rider charge £10 a person for a trip from oxford circus to piccadilly circus and there were 3 passengers !!! what a joke! They are a nuisance to all road users and pedestrians alike. The ‘companies’ running the rickshaws do not care what happens once the rider has paid his £75 weekly rental fee and takes the rust buckets out on the street. I deal with these pathetic riders everyday and they cause nothing but trouble, the riders themselves obstruct bus lanes, traffic lights and pedestrian crossings and even the busy pavements ? now I see these everyday and they are an eyesore, the riders stop every ten yards and try to entice customers by shouting or constantly ringing their horrendous bells ! The riders are not checked or vetted in any way and as some have stated previously ? riders have been arrested and known to be illegal immigrants. Fun way to top off your evening ????? I dont think so, I’d rather get rid of them and let the traffic flow better. Now, if you really want to see how they affect london transport and heap misery on so many londoners, take a trip to Hamleys in the evening and watch them block the bus lane and hound customers exiting the store like flies around shit ! Get them off our streets !!!!!!! rant over.

I only wish that the AmRen gatherings were easier to get to.? If they were more frequent and more widely dispersed I think they would get a lot more attention.? My stockpile is so stocked right now that I’m spending $20-30 a week total on everything (groceries, drugstore and stockpile.) I’ve even taken a break from drugstore shopping right now but did do a Target deal this morning (1Campbells Go Soup, 2 packs of Schick hydro razor disposables, 6 bars of Neutrogena soap, 2 Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream, a Nivea lip balm, and a gallon of white vinegar for cleaning for $5.78 including tax!) With some of the leftover money I went to the local nursery and bought more kale seeds, a 6 pack of zucchini plants and 2 tomato plants and over the next few weekends will continue to stop there and get my summer garden in, which is a HUGE money saver.
