体力は無いけれど概ね健康で大病もしたことが無くて。健診もサボっておりましたが、久々に受けた健診の結果が昨日届きました。

眼科で精密検査が必要。えっ…。緑内障の疑いがあり。
緑内障は視神経が損傷を受けて視野が欠けていく疾病の総称だそうです。欠けた視野が戻る事はありません。
基本的な知識はありました、以前もちょっと疑われて視野検査受けた事がありましたから。

視野が欠けていく…だんだんと周りが見えなくなるって事ですよね。真っ先に浮かんだのは怖いという事。今まで見えてたものが見えなくなる恐怖。
生活に困るという事よりも、愛しくて愛でてきた人や事柄や物たちが見えなくなる…ちょっと体温があがったような感じがしました。

とにかく病院へ行かなければと今日は嵐のような天気でしたが病院へ行きました。幸い行きつけの眼科がありますので。
眼圧やら視野検査やら色々しまして、出た結果は緑内障の疑いは無しでした。
小さい頃から視力が弱く特に左目の視神経が極端に歪んでいるそうで、それが緑内障か？と疑われたようだという結果でした。
やれやれ、よかったわ。

乳がん検診も子宮ガン検診もめんどくさがらずに受けようと思った一日でした。
ほっとしたら、緩んじゃって夕方までウロウロ遊んじゃったわ（汗）
